Code of Conduct Policy
Purpose
To ensure that all participants, including players, coaches, parents, and spectators, adhere to standards of behavior that promote a safe, positive, and respectful environment for all.
Applicability
This policy applies to all participants, coaches, officials, volunteers, parents/guardians, and spectators.
Expected Behavior
- Demonstrate sportsmanship, respect, and fair play at all times.
- Respect referees, officials, opponents, teammates, and coaches.
- Refrain from using profanity, abusive language, or gestures.
- Maintain self-control in all situations.
- Refrain from criticizing players, coaches, officials, or league volunteers publicly or on social media.
- Parents and spectators are expected to set positive examples for all children.
Prohibited Conduct
- Physical or verbal abuse.
- Harassment, bullying, or intimidation.
- Use or possession of drugs, alcohol, or tobacco products at league events.
- Disruptive behavior that interferes with games, practices, or events.
Enforcement
- 1st Offense: Verbal Warning.
- 2nd Offense: Written Warning.
- 3rd Offense: Suspension or removal from the program, subject to Executive Board review.
